- chameli
- A flower of the jasmine genus called Jasminum grandiflorum or Spanish jasmine. It has a white colour and extremely sweet fragrance. Usually found to blossom during the month of Shrãvan. The chameli plant is a vine, whereas mogrã and dolariyã (also part of the jasmine genus) are shrubs.

- White flower of the jasmine genus called Jasminum sambac, whose blossoming buds are considered to be especially beautiful when swaying in the wind – from which it gets its name.
