- ( યોગ ) એક શારીરિક પ્રક્રિયા; ધોતી. તેમાં પંદર હાથ લાંબું અને ચાર આંગળ પહોળું એક ઝીણું કપડું લઈ, ઊના પાણી કે દૂધમાં પલાળી, મુખ વાટે કોઈ પદાર્થને ગળતા હોઇએ તેમ ગળવામાં આવે છે. ગળ્યા પછી પેટને આમતેમ હલાવવાની ક્રિયા કરી તેને બહાર કાઢી ધોઈ નાખવામાં આવે છે. આ ક્રિયા કરવાથી ઉધરસ, પ્લીહા, જલોદર, કોઢ અને કફના તમામ વ્યાધિઓનો નાશ થઈ આરોગ્ય જળવાઈ રહે એમ મનાય છે. | નાનું ધોતિયું; ધોતલી; પોતિયું. | હઠયોગની ધૌતી ક્રિયા કરવાની કપડાની લાંબી પટ્ટી.
