- ( પુરાણ ) બ્રહ્માના દિવસરૂપ એક કલ્પ. બ્રહ્માના આયુષ્યના અર્ધ ભાગને પરાર્ધ કહેવામાં આવે છે. બ્રહ્માના પૂર્વ પરાર્ધને અંતે જે કલ્પ થયો હતો તેને પાદ્મકલ્પ કહે છે. એ પાદ્મકલ્પમાં હરિના નાભિ સરોવરમાંથી ત્રિભુવનાત્મક કમળ ઉત્પન્ન થયું હતું.
