Then Maharaj says, one who has immense faith in the worship and service of God, and in listening to discourses, stories, and kirtans.
The meaning of immense faith in God is that one does not get tired.
And one does not get bored.
The meaning of interest is that one does not get bored.
And the meaning of faith is that one does not get tired.
One who has faith does not feel tired.
If there is interest, one does not get bored.
So there is more devotion; we have the devotion to serve, the devotion to sing kirtans, the devotion to worship, the devotion to perform mental worship.
Then he doesn't get tired.
And he doesn't get bored.
If it takes a long time, he doesn't get bored.
If he has to do the same thing repeatedly, he doesn't get bored.
He doesn't doze off.
In the discourse, there are yawns and drowsiness.
Then there is no interest.
Did anyone yawn while eating?
While eating, we usually eat, nothing else.
If there's no cooking, no good menu, do you yawn?
Drowsiness?
It comes when there is no interest.
When it becomes dry, drowsiness comes, yawns and all that comes, boredom and all that comes.
One who has immense faith in the worship and service of God, and in listening to discourses, stories, and kirtans.
One who understands the immense glory of God.
Those two things remain new day by day and never become secondary.
One performs actions understanding the greatness, and another performs actions without understanding the greatness.
So how would I know about that?
There is a difference in enthusiasm.
There is a difference in enthusiasm.
That's right.
What else?
If someone makes him leave, he won't leave.
If he faces difficulty, he won't give up.
And if there is no greatness?
Then he gives up, he gives up.
If there is a small child, Maharaj said to give him a gold coin.
He doesn't have the greatness.
If someone else gives him something, and he gets tempted, he immediately puts that down and takes the other.
And if he has grown up and understood what this gold coin is.
Then if someone scares him?
If someone tempts him?
If some other problem arises?
He won't give up.
So if he does it with greatness, then he.
If he understands and does it, that this is God's action, this is devotion, and what is the value in it, then even if someone makes him leave, he won't leave; if he knows, he definitely won't leave.
Here, you take the key, you know him.
Now I don't want to play.
One who has immense faith in the worship and service of God, and in listening to discourses, stories, and kirtans, and understands the immense glory of God.
One should recognize that devotee by the characteristic that those two things remain new day by day and never become secondary.
If the interest keeps increasing, then recognize him.
Maharaj gave the example of Muktanand Swami, just as we saw Muktanand Swami in Lojpur, and the faith and our greatness that he had, remains new and fresh to this day.
But it does not become secondary.
It is known by such characteristics.
Having love for God is an internal matter.
What is the criterion to express it externally?
The nature of love is attachment.
Attachment is a substance lying in the deepest part of the heart.
It does not directly appear before us in its own form.
But he doesn't sit properly.
If there is attachment, it's not like it will just sit quietly.
Sometimes it sits quietly, but it's not like it will completely settle down.
Is an attached person peaceful or restless?
Restless.
So who makes him restless?
Attachment from within.
So attachment does not sit peacefully.
In our heart, attachment towards God.
If there is attachment, attachment means love.
Then he gets disconnected, he sits peacefully.
He cannot sit peacefully.
Without devotion to God, one cannot sit peacefully.
To sit peacefully and do bhajan peacefully, these are just talks.
He has no attachment to God.
He has no love for God.
If someone has a strong desire for money, what does he do?
He breaks, he wakes up early.
He does a double job.
He does a double job.
He says, if he gets some time, he does something else somewhere.
Why? Attachment does not sit still.
He doesn't sit peacefully, saying, 'Okay, our job is done.' He doesn't sit still for that much.
If there is extra time, then?
He will do his home business.
Or he will do another job.
Or he will do something from home.
But the attachment to money elevates him.
So, if we have attachment and love for Maharaj, we only do what we are assigned.
Then what does that mean?
We say we did a side job.
He will do a side job.
He says, 'Okay, I got some time, so I'll do a little side job.'
We don't do that.
Saints don't do that; they do the business of peace.
Who creates unrest?
Who creates unrest?
He does the business of peace.
Whatever happens, happens.
To do a legal job.
No overtime.
If your boss gives you overtime, do you do it?
Huh?
They do.
So, if you have to do overtime, you do it if they pay you a salary.
Otherwise, if they make you do it for free, who would go to do it?
But that's because the salary for overtime is double the rate, isn't it?
He gets double the money.
So, if he gets overtime, he never leaves it.
He sleeps while working.
Teachers don't do that.
He sleeps on the job and does overtime.
So, if he does overtime, he leaves.
If we tell a sadhu that he has to do overtime, and that he has to do this much, then what does he say?
I have to do all this for the salary.
Who does overtime?
That's because there's a desire for overtime.
Overtime means doing more than your capacity.
Overtime means the government has decided that a person's capacity is eight hours.
And to do overtime means to work 12 hours.
He works 12 hours, 10 hours.
He works for 15, 16 hours.
When they go to America, they all do triple jobs.
They do double jobs, but also triple jobs.
All three.
Daily, double on weekdays, and then a third job on weekends.
If there's a strong desire from within, it's already there, isn't it?
So, whoever has extreme interest, does more than their capacity.
He doesn't just sit there.
As soon as he gets a chance, he does it immediately.
That is a matter of interest.
Its glory and sentiment, whatever you call it.
That's why it is.
The nature of love is attachment.
Attachment is a substance lying in the deepest part of the heart.
It should be developed.
What to do in developing? These are all symptoms.
He first performs the ritual with planning, applies it, and then gradually it becomes permanent, it becomes attachment.
If we only do our duty and don't do more than that, then it's normal.
How much devotion do we have for Maharaj?
We were given a duty, 'Okay, you have to do the service of the store, prepare the thal.'
And then, after preparing the thal, everyone finished eating, and at one o'clock, we cleaned the area.
And then some guests came, sadhu guests came, so then what?
It's not like it was there from the beginning.
The Gopis didn't have such love; Maharaj said that they acquired it through many births of penance.
It wasn't that the Gopis just naturally developed love.
They acquired it.
They performed penance on Brahma, pleased the Rishis, and pleased Naradji; that's how much they acquired it then.
How can it happen in this very birth?
If one hurries, it can happen in this birth.
One person takes three hours to prepare a thal, and another person does it in one hour.
So, what does he do to finish it in an hour?
He calls two or three people.
Either he calls two or three people, or he hurries.
If one hurries, then for those who are in a hurry, it happens in this very birth.
And slowly, it takes two or three births.
If one has faith in the worship and service of God, it means that one does not feel tired or bored in it.
If there is attachment, if there is love, and if there is intense devotion and glory, all these are on one side, aren.
Then he does not get bored with it.
When he gets bored, he immediately starts dozing off.
He yawns.
Yawning is a sign of boredom, isn't it?
And then dozing.
Then he runs away.
Then run away.
That doesn't happen.
It never happens to him.
There is no boredom at all in counting money, earning money, or looking at money.
Even if it belongs to someone else.
Even if it's someone else's, if he counts it, he'll doze off.
If someone else told you to count this.
Then if you're awake, you'll doze off while counting.
Some rare ones might eat it.
We eat the subject of Prakash Swami.
He says there's no semolina.
If one has faith in the worship and service of God, it means that one does not feel tired or bored in it.
If we get bored while serving, then.
Someone asked Narendra Modi, "You work 18 hours, don't you get tired?"
He was asked.
He gave a very good answer.
He said it in Mann Ki Baat.
Did anyone hear it?
Has anyone heard it?
Has anyone heard it?
You haven't heard it.
You are talking about others.
What did I say? Tell him.
What causes fatigue?
From dullness.
He said so well that fatigue comes from that, not from working.
Yes, if you leave work unfinished, you get tired.
Work is incomplete, so I feel tired.
If it's incomplete, doesn't finish, or fails, then you feel tired.
So, when I work, and I work for 18 hours, and that work is completed, I feel a lot of joy.
The work to be done.
Huh?
The work that needs to be done, the enthusiasm to do more work awakens.
So, the enthusiasm to do more work awakens.
So, when one thing is completed, one step, we moved forward, or we developed such affection for Maharaj, then we don't feel tired from it.
Narendra Modi said that work should be done.
Someone asked him a question.
You work 18 hours, he works 18 hours.
We.
We can't do 18 hours.
We have set out for God, risking our lives.
Miracles have happened at the risk of life, or they are happening.
Died or killed, like that.
If they die, they are gone, but to be saved, to be saved, miracles have happened at the risk of life.
But it doesn't stay that way forever.
Then it's done, it's over, now I'm relieved.
It burns all eight watches.
The love from the liberated body burns all eight watches, burns all eight watches.
Sati Sura Kushal is the bell of the clock.
The love from the liberated body burns all eight watches.
If there is love for God, once it has properly taken root, then one should not let it slacken.
In that, in that.
One has to risk their life.
One has to risk their life throughout their life.
But there should be passion in it, passion in fighting, not in this.
Even if one has to fight with their parents, there should be passion.
The grip becomes strong.
Who can reach?
Once there is opposition with both, if both go into the feeling that this is my father and this is my son, then there will be difficulty.
But if the grip becomes strong, beat the other person properly, and then see.
Now it is said that it is comfortable.
Do whatever you want to do.
The grip becomes strong.
It happens like that.
So then there is passion in it.
There should be passion in this.
Maharaj said that there should be passion, and in the last Vachanamrut, Maharaj said to apply speed.
One should apply the speed of God, the glory of God, and self-devotion. One should apply the speed of the form of the soul and the supreme soul.
That is passion.
It is called risking one's life, passion means risking one's life.
They died for me.
They would have come after fighting with their parents in that way.
Even if you kill me, I don't want to be, let's go.
What will you do?
Such a person would have risked their life, but then they hide their life properly.
One does not pour their life into devotion.
One has to pour into it.
There is a lack of greatness and faith, that's why it happens like this.
The lack of greatness, then there is no caution, no awareness.
Sadhus would have become so for the sake of greatness.
Sadhus would have risked their lives somewhere.
Then he understood the greatness that I want to become.
I want to attain moksha for my soul.
They would have become great through greatness, then they would have understood something when they risked their lives.
When one risks their life, they must have understood it then.
But then it doesn't remain.
One task is gone.
And in this, passion comes. The slope of this world is such that passion comes in fighting.
Someone might be saying that we said that this person is slandering Swaminarayan Bhagwan and doing that and slandering sadhus.
So we say that we will have to fight with this person.
So they start fighting from then on.
It's fun to fight.
And then the fight increases at the risk of life.
But if it is said that one wants to please Maharaj and please the sadhus.
Then no one risks their life.
So when will he be pleased?
Who knows?
And it takes a very long time.
So one does not risk their life in it.
One does not risk their life in pleasing.
In that, one risks their life if they want to fight.
So it is a kind of passion.
They die for God.
They die for God.
They may die, but they don't live.
People may die for God.
People may die for sadhus.
But no one lives for sadhus and for God.
To live for him.
Then it is said that one has preserved that passion.
One has faith in the worship and service of God.
That means one does not feel tired or bored in it.
If we get bored while serving, then we should understand that there is a lack of faith.
There is such a lack of greatness.
How can one get bored in service?
If one is in one thing and slows down, it means there is a lack of greatness.
Maharaj said that Muktanand Swami did not slow down.
Muktanand Swami stayed till the end. Maharaj went to the divine abode first.
Then Muktanand Swami went to the divine abode, right?
So he did not slow down until his last breath.
Brahmanand Swami did not slow down until his last breath.
Gunatitanand Swami and Nishkulanand Swami did not slow down until their last breath. Some kept increasing continuously.
They did not slow down.
In pleasing Maharaj, he did not experience any slow pace.
I
