A person develops affection for good people, that happens if they are good people, otherwise, everyone develops affection for me.
Where do we develop affection?
My brother, what did my Pandavas do, Sanjaya?
He said that.
I develop affection for myself, it happens automatically.
There is our son.
And there is a neighbor's son.
The neighbor's son is very smart.
He gets good grades in studies.
Our son might be a bit less intelligent.
So we call him innocent.
So, if he is a bit less intelligent, he is. We can't make him smarter, otherwise, everyone would make their children smarter.
But that doesn't happen to us.
So, even if he is less intelligent, where do we develop affection? Even if he is less intelligent.
Intelligent.
If he is less intelligent, it happens more.
Innocent.
Who is there for this innocent one, poor thing?
It's like, if parents have three or four sons, and one of them is a bit less intelligent, then the parents feel more affection for him.
Who is there for the poor one who is less intelligent?
So, a person develops affection for me.
Affection doesn't happen quickly for good people.
It happens to some.
If one is a good person, it should happen.
That's it.
But Swaminarayan Bhagwan is both mine and good, both are fine.
So, there's nothing to do blindly in that.
So, Maharaj said that when it becomes mine, then he gets conviction, such a process happens in the intellect.
So, Maharaj says that the process that happens in the intellect is visible.
But what happens in the soul is not visible, but if it happens in the intellect, it has happened in the soul.
These are all called the preliminary stages of the intellect's conviction.
To gain knowledge.
To become a little discerning.
Explain the difference in its glory.
And then make him mine.
And when he makes me his own, he develops affection, that is called bhakti.
If we make Maharaj our own, if we become convinced in our soul.
That Swaminarayan Bhagwan is mine.
Then we don't have to force affection.
It happens automatically.
Will anyone tell you to do mental worship of your son today and show more affection in it?
They understand that they come and do it where they are doing Thakorji's.
So, he doesn't have to force affection; when he becomes mine, he doesn't have to force affection.
The affection he shows is called bhakti.
The next step after that is called bhakti.
