The twice born people (the Brahmins, the Kshatriyas, and the Vaisya) shall perform the sixteen “Samskars,” the daily rites and rituals and the Shraddha (ceremonies for the dead) at the prescribed time following the methods mentioned in their respective Grihya Sutras, spending within the limits of their means.
