Such is Swami Shrihari, whose deeds are beyond compare.
Let me tell again, briefly, from the beginning — listen, all of you, to this abode of happiness.
Purushottam himself manifested and exercised great power, with the sole purpose of forcefully bringing souls to his refuge.
Sinful men and women — adulterers, drunkards, meat-eaters, thieves, and murderers — whoever took his refuge crossed over by his own strength; he carried these great sinners across the ocean of worldly existence.
The greedy, the lustful, the deceitful, the desirous — whoever, man or woman, came to his refuge crossed beyond worldly existence, attaining samadhi and the fulfillment of happiness, gaining passage in this world and the next.
They beheld the heavenly realms and Kailash, Vaikuntha, and the devotees of Hari; they beheld Goloka and Shwetadwip, and the abode of Akshar, and its liberated souls.
Whatever the conduct proper to each realm, they saw and spoke of it exactly as it was; whoever presided over each realm made petition to the manifest Lord.
Thus, having seen so many abodes, the devotees considered themselves fulfilled.
They also beheld universe within universe, and beheld what was their own and what belonged to others; they beheld mind, intellect, consciousness, ego, the vital breaths, and the array of senses.
Whatever thoughts arose, good or bad, they saw these too as separate from their own true self.
Thus devotees beheld all this in samadhi, and worshipped the manifest Lord accordingly.
That utterly transcendent, complete Brahman, of whom the scriptures say only "not this, not this" — that very one, the giver of happiness, is Sahajanand, honored by the whole world, Jagjivan.
Whoever is the cause of all causes, that very one has taken on a body.
He is the source of all avatars, that very Sahajanand, the giver of happiness.
Whoever is the master of all abodes, know that to be Swami Sahajanand himself.
The moon, the sun, Brahma, Indra, Shesha, Mahesh, the gods, Ganesh, the earth, water, fire, wind, the guardians of the directions, Time, and Maya — these and countless others who do not transgress his single command, knowing that very form, the people worship Sahajanand.
There is no doubt whatsoever about this being fully manifest, not merely indirect — such talk occurs in every land.
Manifest worship is offered in many ways, and his virtues are sung house to house.
Manifest worship and arti are offered, and the people offer praise and petition; they hold a peacock crown and forest garland for him, and hold an umbrella and wave the chowrie over him.
Worship and manifest devotion are performed by many men and women.
Without doubt, men and women worship him as the manifest, present support.
He, the friend of the humble, removes their sorrow, the compassionate, gracious ocean of happiness.
Desire, anger, greed, delusion, and the like, which have afflicted souls since beginningless time — conquering such invincible enemies, he brings about devotion to his own feet.
Thus he has redeemed countless souls, carrying them across the ocean of worldly existence.
Taking Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas, and Shudras, he has redeemed many men and women.
Seeing Shyam's own power, he has granted his own abode to his devotees.
They have attained Shwetadwip, Vaikuntha, Goloka, and the sorrowless abode of Akshar.
While still in this body, his devotees are filled with joy, and worship him as manifest.
They regard themselves as having truly met Shrihari, and speak of it with no uncertainty.
Other sects and paths have grown weak, and even where they remain, they have decayed and spoiled.
Among them, the souls who were true seekers came seeking the manifest Lord; from sunrise to sunset there is but one talk: that Prabhu Sahajanandji is manifest and present.
Children, youths, and elders alike have no doubt remaining in this.
Thus men and women worship him openly, in his manifest form, without limit.
Gods, Bhairav, Bhavani, Pir, and spirits, ghosts of the departed, spells, charms, black magic, demons, ghosts, spirits, and ancestral beings, troupes, illusions, and sorcery — fear of none of these remains, not even as a pretense.
Thus, having attained the manifest Lord, all other doubts have been cast away.
There is no burden from anyone within, having attained the manifest son of Dharma.
Moreover, each follows their own dharma, beholding the manifest form of the Master.
They worship the manifest Lord, and thus the people remain joyful.
No doubt of any kind remains — they have struck down Time and Maya themselves.
Taking such great strength from the manifest one, fear of everything else has vanished.
Thus the fact of his manifest presence became known and renowned throughout the world.
Miracles occur beyond number — who is so foolish as not to believe?
When a satsangi leaves the body, Nath comes to receive that soul.
Whoever dies averse to him dies crying in anguish, and after death goes to Yama's abode.
Seeing this well-known twofold outcome, people worship Sahajanand, the treasury of happiness.
On every road and path this is proclaimed: without the manifest Lord, all is darkness.
This is not a matter kept hidden or secret — it is openly declared, proclaimed by groups everywhere.
Having made himself thus manifest, he accomplished the welfare of many souls.
Then Nath considered within himself: when I am no longer present on this earth, my devotees, men and women, will be left without support.
So let me give them a support; others will come after them too.
For the sake of their welfare, let me build temples and install images.
Also, let me establish my own role as guru within the family lineage of dharma.
Thinking thus, at once, he had the fine images of Nar-Narayan Dev, Lakshmi-Narayan, and others installed.
He made Avadhprasad and Raghuvir Acharyas, deep in virtue; through the medium of these images, he displayed his majesty, fulfilled miracles, and induced samadhi.
