So, before dying, one should make a decision that I want to go to God's abode. This is about the soul, not about speaking falsely.
If you all have made a decision, it should be a firm decision in your soul that I want to earn money, I want to go into worldly life, I want to do this, that decision should arise from your soul.
And if it arises from the soul, there are many boys who say, 'I want to become a doctor.'
So, all of them would give up all the fun, entertainment, and playing. They would work hard for 18 hours, and the one studying with them would be enjoying everything and sitting with a mobile phone.
So, it's not that the other person doesn't like mobile phones or doesn't like playing and doing things.
So, what does he give up? Does he give up his detachment?
He made a decision that he wants to become a doctor.
I want to become an engineer like this.
I want to become a CA.
So, he would have made such a decision.
And he makes a decision
And if the decision is made correctly, then giving up the other thing is not difficult for him. He automatically gives it up. If there is no detachment, detachment comes.
Such a decision works as detachment, this principle was established by God in the Gita.
That's why God told Arjuna, 'You make such a decision.'
And to make him decide, God had to narrate 18 chapters.
And after narrating 18 chapters, Arjuna decided that he would do as told.
Now I will do it.
Then he made a decision.
So, if a correct decision is to be made and it is made on time, then a very big task is accomplished.
The work becomes very big.
If all the decisions are very heavy decisions, people make decisions in just fifteen minutes or five minutes, but a five-minute decision can change their entire life. What to say about life, it can change the face of the entire country.
It changes the face of the entire society.
Shastriji Maharaj made the decision to establish a Gurukul. One day, Swamiji must have made the decision that I want to do this.
So, he made a decision, and how much result does it bring?
What if he hadn't made a decision?
Then there would be no result.
So, it happens based on the decision. An important decision should be made.
When we have a lot of sattva guna and when there is convenience in all matters, then one should make a good decision and stick to it.
Then automatically, even if he doesn't have detachment, he gets as much as he needs.
It's not like detachment happens then.
But he gets as much decision as he needs.
So, making a good decision, making an excellent decision, is a very important thing.
And Maharaj has said that in this.
Maharaj said that making such a decision is a very important thing.
And then Maharaj talked about everything, saying that completing a decision is also a difficult task.
This path to moksha, in the worldly path, there is no big problem.
We said that if one wants to become a doctor.
We had a student in Hyderabad, and he went into that, the aero, the pilot. He went to study piloting, so he went to study piloting in South, in Africa.
To study piloting in South Africa.
Our food is not available there.
He said, 'My weight has decreased by 22 kilograms.'
When boys are here, if they are young, they are.
And then he said, 'My weight decreased by 22 kilograms.'
Because if we have studied in Gurukul, we don't eat other things, we don't eat that, so he cooks and eats himself, and such things are not available there. So he lost 22 kilograms and became a pilot.
He recently got a promotion.
So he became a big pilot commander, a commander.
This has come in Sad Vidya.
This Kundalgika.
But he should make a decision, right?
If one decision is made, then everything else happens automatically.
In studies, there will be a very big reliance on the decision-making of these children.
There was a boy studying with us in Hyderabad, and he was so smart that he always came first.
And his father was worth 100 crores.
So we asked him, 'What do you want to become?' He said, 'I want to become a teacher.'
Then we have to explain to him.
We have to explain to him that he doesn't have to become a teacher, he has to become a big businessman or a doctor or something like that.
So, making that decision is very important.
Maharaj said in this that if one makes that decision and then proceeds, they attain the abode of God.
If there is courage in a man, then God helps.
Similarly, if we have taken a decision with courage and our hands are falling short, then God helps.
What does God do? He helps, because He has to take them, that is His work.
You want to fill the mind, right?
So, that's his job, he has to take them.
And he helps us.
But we should have the courage to make a decision.
Otherwise, in negligence, we might think, 'We are already good, so where is the need to make a decision now?'
Is it that no one is good in this?
In this, we are all good.
So, they don't make a decision.
We are good, that's why we don't make a decision.
All our saints are also good.
So, they don't make any decision.
And they just go on.
They just go on and waste their life, they waste their life.
No work gets done.
So, no work gets done.
So, Maharaj said that this is the Vachanamrut of goal setting.
One should set a goal.
And Maharaj demonstrated that.
What is the goal?
I want to go to Akshardham.
What is the other side goal?
I don't want to go anywhere else.
Otherwise, if we are going to Akshardham, and then we see another place nearby, we might go there.
Not like that.
The goal setting should be such that I want to go to Akshardham and nowhere else.
And that too, at the end of this very birth.
When setting a goal, it has a time limit.
If you don't write a time boundary, it's not called a goal.
I want to do this within this time.
So Maharaj said that this body, when this body is finished, then nowhere else, no other station.
And I want to go to Akshardham.
And once he makes a decision, all other decisions automatically change.
When one groom gets engaged, all the other relatives become his.
Everyone becomes a relative, right?
However many relatives that person has, all of them become relatives of this person.
So, if one makes a decision for Akshardham, all other decisions automatically change for him.
If one wants to go to Akshardham, one has to do this, one has to obey commands, one has to do satsang, one has to do something for Maharaj.
All those decisions come as an automatic, ready-made package for him.
That package, we only have to choose one, that whole package comes together.
So, he makes a decision for God that I want to go to God's abode with this body.
Before this body is finished, the work has to be done.
The decision to go to God's abode is not made on the last breath.
It happens in the initial breaths.
Of life.
And then it becomes firm here.
Then he also, but that is
He said in the beginning and in the end, that's a mess.
When we are about to die, can we make a decision then that I want to go to Akshardham and then go?
It doesn't happen then.
Now, right from the beginning of life, one should decide that I want to go to Akshardham.
And I want to do it this way.
Then all his decisions change.
And automatically, he doesn't need detachment.
You shouldn't have the desire in your mind that we did this because we don't have detachment.
There is no need for detachment in this.
There is only a need for the power of decision.
There is only a need for firmness.
Even if there is no detachment, it will work.
God said that in the Gita.
That you should not desire the fruits of action, nor should you be attached to inaction.
You don't need to keep anything else, just do as I say here.
So
It is said that actions do not bind the self-controlled.
Self-controlled means the one who makes a decision. If his decision is firm, then actions cannot bind him.
Sensory objects cannot bind him.
He should be a firm decision-maker.
That I want to go to God or I want to do this work.
Gandhiji decided that he wanted to bring independence to India.
So, is it possible for anyone?
He shook the entire British empire.
One person.
But he doesn't make a decision.
And that is called willpower. Willpower means decision.
Willpower says.
If one's vision is on enjoyment and opulence, can a decision be made as long as the vision is on enjoyment and opulence?
So, it can be done until then.
Two divisions were mentioned.
As long as one is attached to worldly pleasures and opulence, a decision can be made.
But for those whose minds are carried away, it cannot be done.
If his soul is completely drawn into it, if he has become completely infatuated, then it cannot be done.
Otherwise, all these people are attached to worldly pleasures and opulence.
It's not that he doesn't need detachment.
Only decision is needed.
But if his soul is completely drawn into it, then he cannot make a decision.
So, it's not that one cannot make a decision if there is attachment to worldly pleasures.
One can make such a decision.
Swami Muktanand Swami, Punja Dodhia, if we look at the lives of all those great saints and Nand saints, they all made a decision. Ramdasbhai Ramdas in one second. But generally, everyone wishes to go to Akshardham, so is there any need to check one's current reality? Because if there is such an intense decision, there is no problem, but mostly if it is vague, then
Current
The scriptures say that there is no need to check reality. One who wants to go to God's abode is not hindered by any karma. Even if one has grave karmas, they do not hinder one from going to God's abode.
It doesn't hinder in making a decision either.
In making a decision, even if one has grave karmas, they do not hinder on the path to moksha.
They don't come in the way saying you can't make a decision.
All his examples are Joban Pagi and Valio Lutaro, all of them are his examples.
He had grave karmas.
And yet he made a decision.
And when he made the decision, they all became good.
So, if his own karmas cannot stop him, then who else can stop him?
Even his own karmas cannot stop him.
Valmiki was a robber, he made a decision, or the other one made him decide.
He made him do it, whoever it was.
We are sitting here, even if you take a hammer and say, 'Make a decision, make a decision,' do you make one?
So, let him have done it, whoever it was.
All of us have been made to decide by Shastriji Maharaj or Guru Maharaj. We haven't come here having made our own decision at home.
But to do it and to accept it completely, to internalize it, that is something we have to do.
So, let anyone have made the decision, even if Naradji made Valia Lutara decide, but Valia Lutara made the decision.
So, even if someone else made Joban Pagi decide, he did it himself.
And he made the decision, so he reached his goal.
Swami, the reason why one cannot make a decision is either the inclination towards worldly pleasures or an extremely wretched state, and there is a lack of desire for liberation.
Extremely
One who is extremely wretched only sees worldly objects, he does not see the path of God.
So, he cannot see, he cannot make a decision.
Or sometimes, the time for making a decision has passed.
If the time to make a decision has passed, then it becomes less likely that a decision can be made.
For devotees, even if they don't become sadhus, everyone has to make it a goal to go to Akshardham.
So, 99% of those devotees do not make this solid goal.
Is the reason for that wretchedness or not understanding?
What did you say?
There is a brain.
They are devotees of God, Hari Bhaktas, Satsangis, they know Maharaj, they have a desire to go to Akshardham.
And yet, a firm decision to go to Akshardham is not made.
So, the question is how to consider wretchedness in that.
There are two types of decisions.
One is a common decision, a general one, if it's possible, I'll go.
If it's possible, I'll go.
If we can go, we will go.
But not by leaving this behind.
It's not a decision to give up.
Its inner analysis is like this.
He might not have decided that he doesn't want to leave this behind.
But if you analyze it, it means that nothing here should be left behind.
And if it's possible, I want to go.
So then he cannot make a decision.
The other person has a decision that whatever has to be left, it is said in this that the body should be honored, that should happen, that should happen, Maharaj has said everything in this, yet he made a decision.
So, no matter what comes in the way, I have to leave it and go.
Then that is called a firm decision.
And all that, the decision is of two types. One is a general decision that has been made. Here, we have all been made to memorize it. You all have made a decision once.
Everyone has made a decision, we have put so much effort and made a fuss.
So, everyone will make a decision.
So, he will make a decision, but he will make such a decision.
That if it's possible, I want to go.
I don't want to leave anything here.
Even this much.
So, is that called wretchedness or
Then it is called wretchedness.
So, wretchedness is not called wretchedness, we don't like the word wretched for all of us, but 'tayapaharat chetasam'.
God said in the Gita.
Tayapaharat chetasam.
Because the decisions of this world beat that decision, it means that it has pulled our soul, our soul.
If there is a general, common decision, and from that a specific decision is made, a decision in the soul, then what should be done for that?
In that, many things, many paths are mentioned in the scriptures, but one should have an intense longing that no, no, I don't want to miss this time.
God has given convenience, there should be a longing in his soul.
And for that, Maharaj mentioned satsang as a great solution.
He said to serve such great personalities.
And he mentioned his pleasure.
So, in his soul, how did Shastriji Maharaj say that whatever I am, it is due to the grace of Nanddas Swami and great saints upon me, that is mine.
So, it means that he has taken his pleasure, so he can make such a decision.
And he can make others take it.
So, mostly, satsang and the great sadhus of God become its support.
