When some resolutions are spoken, they are called honest, and when some resolutions are not spoken, they are called deceitful.
Then, when the Paramhansas could not answer, Shriji Maharaj said, "If one has a flaw related to the five current vows and it does not go away by one's own thinking, then one should tell that flaw to a saint who does not have such a flaw."
And if one has found a fault in some saint, one should tell it.
And if one has a doubt in the conviction of God, that too should be told, then one is called honest.
And if one has such a resolution and does not tell it to a saint, then one should be considered deceitful.
Then again, what did you say?
When are resolutions called honest, and when are they called deceitful?
If there are resolutions related to the five current vows and they are not removed by oneself, then if one tells them to someone who can remove them, it is called honest. And if there is a doubt in the conviction of God, that too should be told, then it is called honest. And if one does not tell it, then it is called deceitful.
If a saint has a fault,
So what does that mean?
What is the meaning of saying a resolution? What did Maharaj say to say?
What does Maharaj mean?
Who is called deceitful?
If a resolution is not spoken, it is called deceitful.
Everyone hides their weakness, their own weakness.
In this, Maharaj also said that these three are major weaknesses. There are many weaknesses, but these three types of weaknesses are hidden, and if there is something to be said, one does not say it.
Tries to hide it.
Then he is called deceitful.
So, should we hoist our flaws on a flag?
Should I announce it?
Humans have flaws.
What to do?
What to do?
If there is a flaw,
Tell him and try to avoid it with his help.
Maharaj said that.
That is called deceit until then.
He is tolerating his own flaws.
That's why it's called deceit.
Then, tolerating a flaw is not just that, he says.
It means to show that there is no flaw, that is the meaning of deceit.
I have no flaws.
Why does he do such deceit?
Why does a person need to be deceitful?
I don't want to avoid the flaw, I want to tolerate it.
I want to tolerate it.
And again, in the world, one does not want the negative fruit of that flaw; one wants the positive fruit. That is the meaning of this paragraph.
If we have a flaw and we hide it deceitfully, even where it should not be hidden, then it means that we have become strong and stubborn in maintaining our flaws.
To sustain that flaw, one must tolerate it.
And then, someone with a flaw pointed a finger at us, saying, 'You have this flaw.'
On the contrary, one should say that it is very good in you. Maharaj means that if one wishes to remove a flaw, then having a flaw is not deceit.
If we have a weakness and wish to overcome it, it is not called deceit.
So, where one wants to avoid something, one should say it and find a way to avoid it.
It doesn't mean that everyone should be told.
Nothing like that.
But if there is no desire to avoid it, then one is forced to be deceitful.
He wants to tolerate it.
That's right.
If there is a flaw related to the current resolution of the subject,
Then it is not called deceit, but it means that he is not so eager to avoid it.
It does not go away on its own as much as it is avoided with the help of others.
That's why.
Deceit, even then, it is better to tell what is appropriate to whom.
They would perform penance and to God
If one prays, it cannot be called deceit.
That's how it is.
But the meaning of deceit is to hide.
So, if they don't hide their penance from God, they hide it from those to whom they have to reveal certain things.
And the meaning of hiding is that they have respect for maintaining it.
God doesn't say anything. One has to immediately uproot it, but if one performs penance before God, it's fine if it's not uprooted immediately.
So, there is an attempt to hide it.
Until then, it cannot be said to a living person.
God is considered to be alive, though.
God cannot be called dead.
But they don't stop it.
They don't stop it directly.
And they should have the desire to stop it directly, then it will go away.
I would tell someone who directly stops it.
Then he truly wishes to avoid it.
God doesn't say, 'Hey brother, come after finishing this.'
No one says that, do they?
So, what is hidden there continues.
If we have the desire to hide and maintain it, then if we perform penance before God, and if the desire to maintain it is strong, then it works.
And its meaning is that there is a desire to maintain it.
And if a saint or devotee tells someone, and if they have this desire, then if it's to be maintained, they will understand.
God already knows that.
So, that one is called good, it is called self.
And this.
The meaning of deceit is that one does not accept one's mistake.
In his mind, he would have accepted it.
If he doesn't accept it in his mind, then he is called shameless.
And in his mind, he would have accepted it.
But he doesn't want to be revealed to everyone.
So Maharaj says that even if it's appropriate, they don't want to be revealed.
So, it is called hidden.
To accept and to hide.
He hides it after accepting it.
And if he doesn't accept it, then there's no question of hiding it.
That's the point.
That is called shameless.
If someone points out Ravana's mistake, Ravana would not hide it.
He doesn't accept it.
He accepts it, but he also acts shamelessly.
Go ahead, do what you want, I am like that, what's the problem with that?
So, that is a kind of complete shamelessness.
But the fact that he hides it means that he inwardly accepts that he has a flaw.
Only then does he wish that this flaw should not be seen by anyone.
Hedonist and enjoyer.
Indra and the gods are all called enjoyers.
It's not that they don't like pleasures.
But he wants to maintain his flaw.
So sometimes he has to deceive, he has to do that, he has to pretend.
And Ravana is a hedonist.
So, it's not like he has to hide it or anything.
He would just kill someone and take it openly.
The whole world knew that he had taken Kubera's treasure.
He didn't take Kubera's treasure by hiding it or by stealthily taking it, no.
He attacked him there, killed him, and took it.
Even though he was his own brother.
So, he is a hedonist, he is called shameless.
He is not even mentioned here.
But this is also about the one who hides.
This is about divine people.
Then, doing this, he becomes demonic, his nature becomes demonic.
Because if one maintains a fault and doesn't want to improve, then the atmosphere of satsang makes him demonic.
After committing treachery, after hiding the fault, there will be no escape without committing treachery.
So this is the next step, this is the beginning.
Then Shriji Maharaj asked a question: How do we recognize a deceitful person who is also clever?
At that time, even the Paramhansas could not answer it, so Shriji Maharaj said that he is recognized in this way.
When one associates with him, eats, drinks, sits, and stands with him.
When one is with oneself, one takes care of oneself.
And when one separates from oneself, one also has another person keep a secret watch over them, then their deceit is recognized.
Take it.
If there is deceit, and if one is a wise person, how would one know? How would one find out? When would one recognize it?
What do you say?
He has a secret understanding with a weak person.
Those who have flaws, especially those like themselves.
He has a secret understanding with them.
That doesn't happen with good people.
He said it very well in that one.
This Kshetu Maltikame.
That if someone gives him advice for his own good, it doesn't appeal to him at all.
It doesn't appeal to him at all.
And advice for one's good is always about pointing out flaws.
So that doesn't appeal to him.
But if there are flawed people like him, he has a secret understanding with them.
He has a matching with them.
He feels comfortable with them.
And he really likes his character.
Then he should know that he has a secret understanding.
And he is revealed, even if he is wise, he is revealed.
If he is wise, even if he has a secret understanding, he will be revealed.
There is a secret understanding with weak people.
Not with good people.
There are good people.
So, having a secret understanding with weak people.
That is a very dangerous thing.
That is very dangerous.
Because that means his soul is drawn there.
One has to keep it like this from above.
That's what Maharaj said.
Sometimes it's tired.
His soul is drawn there.
So, Maharaj said, while eating, drinking, bathing, washing.
While getting up, sitting down.
He is recognized.
What is recognized?
Where is his comfort?
Where is his comfort?
Where is his soul stuck?
And where is he stuck in weakness?
That becomes known.
If he stays connected permanently, then that weakness where he is drawn.
There, it won't work without getting up and sitting down.
If he meets others and meets them, he will immediately know.
The hair stands on end.
When he meets him.
So much affection overflows.
And if he meets the other one, he says Jai Narayan.
The guru who gave the pind.
May your welfare be cursed.
He meets him like that.
And when he meets the other one.
So, while eating, drinking, sitting.
Where one has one's weakness, that is revealed in this behavior.
While eating, drinking, sitting, getting up.
Weakness is revealed.
So it stays for a long time.
It is not easily revealed.
Who is not easily revealed?
A wise person, like that.
Maharaj said that in this.
He is wise and has flaws.
Are those with flaws wiser, or are those without flaws wiser?
Huh?
Wisdom is compulsory for those with flaws.
And for the other, wisdom is optional.
Wisdom is compulsory for covering flaws.
And it remains compulsory to cover it.
And if he wants to cover it, he covers it, and if he doesn't want to cover it, he sings.
It's optional for him.
So, those with flaws are often wise.
He explains to everyone.
They tell you, don't they, that he has a lot of evidence.
He has so much evidence lined up.
In America, when elections happen, a president is elected.
If his presidency ends, another president is ready.
There's no need for another election.
If he's off, then the third.
There's a line up to 20 like that.
Similarly, he has kept up to 20, if one evidence doesn't work, then the second, if the second doesn't work, then the third, and so on up to 20.
But he makes the other one say 'yes' and then crosses the line.
That no, you are flawless, and Jivrajbhai, Jivrajbhai, you will not go, you are the greatest.
He has evidence like that.
So, are those with flaws wiser, or are those without flaws wiser?
Who?
Do you get wisdom or not?
Nothing.
If there is a flaw, it will break.
If there is no flaw, it will not break.
If a weak person has affection for another weak person, there is no possibility of finding fault.
He has no thoughts.
There is no desire for liberation.
I was thinking, I said, there is no thought of walking on God's path.
If there is a thought of walking on God's path, it is called mumukshuta (desire for liberation).
And if there is no thought of walking on God's path, then he does not see the flaw as a flaw.
He has a flaw, but he doesn't see it as a flaw.
Everyone has this, everyone else has it.
Where are we alone?
Many are like that.
We have a little more.
So he has no intention of walking.
On God's path or to remove flaws.
The intention to remove flaws is called the intention to walk on God's path.
If there is an intention to tolerate flaws as they are, then that is called the world.
The weak only love the weak.
He does not have a good relationship with the good.
Huh?
If a weak person has affection for another weak person, then he does not have a good relationship with the good.
It doesn't happen like that.
One should do it.
But it doesn't happen.
Tell me why it doesn't happen.
I don't see any flaws, where am I weak?
To love the weak in the weak is his compulsion.
Because if he wants to hide it, he has to look at his group a little.
If someone attacks him, if good people attack him.
Can he reach alone then?
So if the gods attack him, all the demons gather.
Only two or five gods would have attacked.
And all the demons gather.
And if the demons attack, then the gods become like cow dung, all scattered.
What are they going to do?
That's why he doesn't want to hide this thing, so he becomes like a cow dung, otherwise he would also think that no one should damage our virtues.
You were talking yesterday, right?
I said it with the feeling of family first.
Those who fight on the border do not fight for themselves.
What should I do to my companion, he damaged him.
So I will kill you.
With such a feeling, it doesn't happen more, otherwise no other feeling arises.
So that's it.
It doesn't happen in gods.
And the other one is compelled, he has no choice but to do it.
To hide his weak flaws or to maintain them, he has no choice but to form a group.
And this one has virtues, there is no need to hide virtues, there is no need to group them, so when they attack, this one.
It gets destroyed.
So it should be there, but it isn't.
Then Shriji Maharaj asked a question.
That's why Maharaj, in Swami's words, I wrote that one should keep one's soul connected with five good devotees, Hari-bhaktas, and two good sadhus. This does not happen naturally, but for the other person, it becomes natural.
Weakness with the weak.
If the other person is weak, then his affection for him becomes natural and he doesn't even have to do it.
Even if a good person loves another good person with planning, it barely sustains.
And even then, it doesn't sustain like that, like the other one sustains.
They all remain like that until death.
They remain one and the same.
How does one get the courage to tell others about one's flaws?
That courage, so to speak.
He wants to remove it.
First, if he decides to remove it, then it happens to him.
To remove it, we feel that we want to become flawed.
And I want to go to Maharaj.
And to go to Maharaj, to go to Maharaj, rather than that, one has to die to go to Maharaj, but if one wants to please Maharaj now.
Then if he has that thought, it will happen, otherwise it won't.
Whether Maharaj is pleased or not, we want to look good, even then he doesn't have it.
Looking good is the first priority.
Next, if Maharaj wants to be pleased, then it happens.
To please Maharaj is his first priority.
And if he wants to look good, he may or may not.
So he did only that much.
Priority changes.
The ultimate priority changes.
Then Shriji Maharaj asked a question.
One who observes the current practices with hypocrisy and maintains faith in God with hypocrisy, and who is intelligent and proud, he considers his current practices and his faith.
When someone shows off their true present and certainty to others, how do we know that they have certainty in their present due to hypocrisy?
When the Paramhansas could not answer that question, Shriji Maharaj said, "His hypocrisy is revealed when his reputation is broken, otherwise it is not revealed."
Why did he say that when his reputation is broken?
It is written in that one, 'hypocrisy-shown good deeds'.
And deceitful, hidden bad deeds.
Hypocrisy-shown good deeds.
He shows all the good deeds with hypocrisy.
Why does he need to do that?
He wants respect.
He
wants respect.
So
he himself, with great desire for liberation,
does not have actions shown by a desire for liberation.
Hypocrisy-shown good deeds.
And deceitful, hidden bad deeds.
He covers his flaws with deceit.
And the one who loses due to hypocrisy, he wants respect.
And the deceitful one
does not want disrespect.
He does not want his devaluation to happen.
If there is a flaw, then wherever it resides, it devalues it, right?
It devalues where it makes its home.
But he does not want that devaluation.
So he has to do that.
Both have flaws.
The other one does not have flaws, but he wants to show his plus points and has respect.
There is a flaw.
He is motivated by respect.
So there is a difference in the flaws of both.
What did he say in the Vachanamrut of Khol?
He is hateful.
Yes.
He said that he is deceitful and clever.
For a deceitful person, he is clever.
He is intelligent.
Clever means intelligent.
He is clever.
So how do you know about deceit?
Maharaj says that there.
That he is hateful towards saints and God, and speaks ill of them.
With him, this one
gets along well.
He matches with him.
And
then his deceit is known.
That he has some hidden relationship with weak people.
Then its meaning is that there is deceit in it.
Then it is his deceit.
He cannot keep it on the surface, but it is hidden.
There is a hidden relation.
And that hidden relation is sometimes revealed.
That he has a hidden relation with this one.
So with whom is it?
From that, it is known that this one is like that one.
That there is some weakness like that in this one.
That is called a hidden relation.
What is the opposite of hidden called?
Open.
Not open.
If there is an open relation, everyone criticizes.
That's why.
A hidden relation with him happens automatically, it becomes natural.
It does not have to be done.
And if one wants to have an open relation with God's good devotees, then it becomes very difficult.
It does not happen.
The good one becomes golden with the hypocrite.
The good one becomes golden with the hypocrite.
The good one becomes golden with the hypocrite.
The good one does not become golden with the hypocrite.
A hypocrite becomes golden with a hypocrite.
Sometimes he gets deceived.
Becoming golden and deceiving are two different things.
To become golden, if one likes it in their soul, then they become golden.
He gets deceived that he is good, and he thinks that this one is like us.
He gets deceived.
So, being deceived is a kind of foolishness.
One is called good only when they find the path.
I
