Whatever one does in the state of ignorance, its atonement is destroyed.
And the sin committed knowingly, its atonement is not destroyed. Through atonement, one becomes worthy of worldly dealings, but one still has to bear the consequences.
That's what the scriptures say.
If in a previous birth we have misappropriated someone's deposit, then after suffering the pains of hell and so on, the one whose deposit we misappropriated is born as our son and collects it by causing us great suffering.
Then he dies.
Having given sorrow.
Similarly, if it belongs to someone in the family, then the family member comes and takes off the yoke from his stomach and leaves.
And if it stays, then as new skin comes, it keeps shedding it.
Moreover, many don't even leave; they stay until the very end.
The family members know, if the family members don't know, then there's no need to yoke.
Everyone knows about yoking, but they don't know about the yoke. Chhaganbhai, Chhaganbhai, don't you know about the yoke? New people might not know.
Having given sorrow, he returns again and again.
Such a son is very beautiful, looks good in every way, so there is attachment. Parents raise him by tying a cloth around their stomach, and when he becomes of age, he dies or becomes rebellious and troubles his parents. Such a son is called Nyasanubandhi Putra.
The second is Runaanubandhi.
If he walks on the path of God, then he will not have any karmic debt.
There is no karmic debt.
Some children are creditors, some children are debtors.
The son comes to give.
His parents are like inverted pots.
Mahendrabhai was there, and he was his father.
So Mahendrabhai's devotion to his father was such that you wouldn't believe it, and his father was such an inverted pot that you wouldn't believe it.
So many times it's like this, they are debtors.
The son is a debtor.
But if he goes on the path of God, then God forgives his debt.
Nishkulanand Swami wrote that either he will give to Ghanshyam or he will have to give to this one, he will give to God.
So God will give his debt to the other person, it's not like the other person's debt will go away or be destroyed. God will pay his debt.
And he is freed from this debt.
Otherwise, if there is karmic debt from infinite past births, then one cannot go on the path of God.
No matter how terrible the karmas are and how severe the karmic debt is, if one walks on the path of God, then all those karmas stand far away.
And if he falls back from that, then those karmas cling to him again.
They don't go away again.
So, if all this goes away, then it doesn't go away like that.
Here in this world, it happens that a lot of debt accumulates.
And then our sadhu becomes a sadhu.
So, many debtors, one or two saints came to us like that in Hira. In Hira, they had a lot of debt, and then they became sadhus.
So all the creditors come and see him in these clothes, then they touch his feet and put five rupees at his feet and leave, the creditors.
And then after ten turns, if they go back from here, then they don't come back to ask for it again, they don't come back to ask.
It's not like that here. If he goes back after 50 years, then they come back to ask for it. They are standing there, so take some and go.
Do they understand that, okay, 10 years have passed, so now what?
These people understand, humans are that understanding.
These karmas don't understand again.
If he reaches the path of God completely, then his debt is forgiven, the debt of infinite births is forgiven.
Even if he doesn't reach completely, it's okay, God gives him another birth in this life, then those creditors won't be there, he will complete the unfinished business and leave.
But if he falls back from this path, then the creditors stand up again.
If he falls back from the path, then the creditors stand up.
Second
Hey
If it's your ashram, then your debt won't be forgiven.
You have to pay a little.
If he crosses over in this birth, then all the remaining ones from previous births, God forgives all of them.
If there are reasons for God, then all those are reasons for God.
Today, for the sake of God, he makes all those reasons.
That reason is released.
Reason
The body is such that it gets destroyed.
Because the body is ignorant.
Ignorance, when it becomes knowledge, it gets destroyed.
If you light a lamp here and there is darkness, where does that darkness go then?
It gets destroyed.
Secondly, due to karmic debt.
If someone takes a loan and then, even if capable, cunningly doesn't repay it, then in the next birth, that person becomes their son.
From birth, they are cruel and merciless, speak terrible words, trouble their parents a lot, and commit theft and robbery.
They squander all the money.
If he has done something like that, his parents get tired of paying again and again.
And that's what happens.
If the son has done something, the parents get tired of paying again and again.
Then, first time they have to pay, then the parents publish in the newspaper that if anyone deals with him, we have no connection with him, understand.
[inaudible]
From birth, they are cruel and merciless, speak terrible words, trouble their parents a lot, and commit theft and robbery.
They beat their parents, spend a lot, and even after their parents' death, they don't perform Shraddha or other rituals.
In this way, they recover the debt of the previous birth, 'Evam vidhasya vaiputrah prabhavanti mahitale'.
Thirdly, due to enmity.
In a previous birth, some come to take revenge.
This is still about give and take, some come to take revenge.
That's how it is.
If someone has troubled and saddened someone in a previous birth out of enmity, they come as a son to take revenge.
From childhood, they behave as if they are enemies of their parents.
It's not like that in this sadhu ashram, mind you.
It's not that we all have some karmic debt, so we've gathered here.
And if there is karmic debt and they have gathered, what happens then?
Then how does it happen?
It's not a rule that just as a householder's son comes due to karmic debt, a guru's disciple also comes due to karmic debt.
Why?
If there was karmic debt, then this give and take would be over.
This is because their frequency of spiritual longing matches, so they come here.
If their guru is a spiritual seeker and the disciple is also a spiritual seeker, then their frequencies match, and they all gather.
And by matching frequencies, they reach God.
There's no give and take in that.
There's no give and take between each other.
It's not that this guru repaid his debt and left, or that this disciple took a debt and left.
If the guru has accumulated money, then some disciples take it and leave.
Then it's possible that the guru might have to be admitted to the hospital.
But if they have found the path to liberation, then there's no problem until then.
Until then, no give and take.
Frequency matches.
If the guru has a certain frequency and a certain spiritual longing, and the disciples have a similar frequency or inclination, then they benefit from it.
And based on that, they reach God.
No give and take whatsoever.
It's not like this one takes something from this person, or that one takes something from those disciples.
If a disciple serves him, God does good for him.
If he gives his teachings, God does good for him, that's it.
Nothing else.
And it's not like that for you.
You might think that the frequency matches.
Even if the frequencies are opposite to each other.
Mostly, no one's frequency matches that of a father and son, and if a spouse's matches, then it's good for them.
[inaudible]
[inaudible]
[inaudible]
[inaudible]
[inaudible]
[inaudible]
[inaudible]
[inaudible]
[inaudible]
That's just for guru and disciple in these clothes.
Then, their karmic debts don't just disappear; the guru-disciple debts remain like this, and some even have more terrible debts than this.
But those who have gathered solely for the path of liberation, their frequencies simply align, meaning they meet because their frequencies match.
If there is a desire for liberation in the Guru, and if there is no desire for liberation in the Guru, then his group will be like that.
Because you get the frequency, right?
If the Guru does not have the desire for liberation, and if many disciples have joined, then what else can he take from it? He cannot take anything from it.
And if the disciples are desirous of liberation and the Guru is not, then even if they are naive, they often come.
They don't benefit each other.
New karmic debts are not created for him.
New karmic debts.
But those who gather are only karmic debts.
He has come to pay his debt, that this Guru has taken from everyone, so he should give it to him.
From childhood, he behaves as if he is an enemy of his parents.
He hits hard while playing and runs away, showing his teeth.
He speaks in a way that causes his parents to suffer, and he does not let them have peace.
We had a devotee.
His son was rebellious.
So his mother was afraid of that boy.
That sometimes this boy said that he would strangle him.
And his father went to the toilet one day, and he closed the door from outside.
Even if he screams, then.
So sometimes, if only creditors have gathered, then we face difficulties.
He speaks in a way that causes his parents to suffer, and he does not let them have peace.
As long as he lives, he lives without affection towards his parents, like an enemy.
But then, those parents don't lose their attachment.
That he is my son.
Even if he understands after death, I have no problem.
Even if he understands after I die, it's good.
This is called attachment, so he creates new karmic debts.
Those who act with understanding or without understanding in attachment, all of them create new karmic debts, and then they keep suffering.
Even if he is a devotee, he does not lose attachment to his son.
That attachment does not go away.
Those karmic debts continue.
That this is what they say, golden children, their own children are golden.
The village children are of mud.
The children of the untouchables are of lumps of earth.
Children act according to their past karmas.
If children act according to their past karmas, then new karmas are attached to them.
It only applies to him.
If there are creditors, then there will be only creditors.
In that, if the past karma was such that it was meant to harass, then it would not harass only that much; if it harasses more, then it affects him the second time.
Karmic debt is not something that gets completely cleared and then ends.
If it has become a habit, then.
New impressions are formed on this one, and that one incurs debt, and that one incurs debt.
His impressions are formed, and he becomes a parent, and his hunters give birth to him.
That happens, so there are many creditors.
Then, a person doesn't immediately have debts and credits in this; he goes through 84 births and then, when the time comes, he pays his debts and credits.
Otherwise, it's not like people keep giving and taking debts.
But even after going through 84 births, the merits and demerits accumulated must be experienced.
And if good and bad deeds have been done, and there has been a transaction in them, then that has to be given back, and if good and bad deeds are to be done, then that has to be experienced in hell.
Both stand up again.
In giving and taking, merits and demerits also occur, and those merits and demerits still have to be experienced.
As long as he lives, he lives without affection towards his parents, like an enemy.
Finally, he kills his parents and leaves.
He kills his father and mother, and then again, that wicked soul, due to his past enmity.
The fourth is the karmic debt of gratitude.
He has no affection for his son.
It remains with the parents.
And it's not that parents do good deeds because it remains with them.
He creates attachment.
He doesn't earn merit from it.
Attachment happens.
If he shows the same amount of affection towards others, he earns merit.
And if he has kept the same amount of affection from God, then he will be liberated.
And in this, there is attachment.
That's why it happens.
It's not that he earns merit.
The fourth is the karmic debt of gratitude.
In a previous birth, someone with a desire for results.
Many times.
You don't have to be released from this, do you?
He doesn't get out of it.
Where does he escape if he has a son?
Even if it has to be done, it will be released again.
It happens, or it doesn't happen.
So, it doesn't get released, it doesn't get released by any means.
Even if you try to release it, it won't be released.
So, if one understands and turns their mind back, they can go on the path of God.
That, if a boy is 15 or 20 years old, the father gets an idea whether he is a debtor or a creditor.
That much of an idea comes, whether he is a debtor or a creditor.
If he is a debtor, he won't grieve much, and if he worships God in his own way, he will be freed, otherwise not.
But a person has so much attachment in their own field, something they have created.
Do you know what this calculates? We have washed all his diapers.
If you've washed his diapers, what will you do to him?
We have squeezed his body and raised him. That is yours, where does he keep it?
So you die.
And you keep memorizing it and keep getting troubled.
If the other person has some calculation, then fine.
And it will never be done in the future either.
So a person turns back, saying, 'What happened due to our foolishness is gone, it's gone, now stop it.'
But that doesn't happen.
That is called attachment.
In a previous birth, if someone did a favor to another with a desire for reward, then the one who received the favor is born as a son to repay it.
In all ways
In that, there is no grief for each other. Debt-bound and favor-bound.
If it's a debt-bound relationship, he might have come to repay, or something else; and if a favor was done, he might have come to repay it.
So there's a difference between the two; there's no mutual happiness or sorrow, sometimes there's happiness.
He did me a favor, so I am going to do him a favor.
So, the child becomes happy, and the parents also become happy and serve him.
In a favor, both are happy.
And in that give-and-take, both are unhappy.
That I didn't get enough, and he says I gave everything.
I gave you this, he says, so much interest is still due.
Huh?
It doesn't become a parayan.
And in this, there is no parayan.
Each other
In every way, he makes his parents happy.
He serves his parents.
He does what is pleasing, sweet
If disciples make their guru happy, then what?
What does he do to God?
He believes in God.
God thinks that, God knows him as Acharya Mam Vijaniyat.
He serves the guru, and if he does it with that understanding, then God is pleased with him.
He does what is pleasing, speaks sweetly, and does work that brings satisfaction.
Even after death, he performs Shraddha and other rituals, increasing his father's fame.
Being a son, O great wise one, by this method, indeed.
Fifth, indifferent.
One who has nothing to give or take, he has come as a son to complete his own unfinished work due to some past karma connection.
He has neither any affection nor any disdain.
Both are silent.
Just like two railway tracks go parallel.
This lives parallel.
Parents don't have much, just that this is my son.
And the child also thinks, these are my parents, that's all.
Both go parallel.
When his work is done, he leaves.
One who has nothing to give or take, he has come as a son to complete his own unfinished work due to some past karma connection.
He neither makes happy nor makes sad.
He remains in an indifferent state.
He always remains in an indifferent state.
Those who become sons, and also other relatives, to repay the debt.
Even animals and birds become that.
If a very mad, aggressive one comes, it will even break its owner's head.
There are debtors and creditors, you see.
As a son, so a wife, father, mother, and relatives.
And other servants are also mentioned.
They also have dealings.
Servants.
If you hire a servant, you pay the same salary.
So, in his salary, some poor fellow struggles, and some
struggles with the owner's feelings.
And some do nothing and still take their full salary.
And then, if you fire him at the end of the month and don't give him an extra month's pay, what will he do to you?
And always makes them vomit and remove it.
So, everyone has such a feeling of give and take.
There is nothing in Guru-disciple relationship.
If the Guru-disciple frequency matches, it's beneficial; otherwise, it's fine.
He goes his way, and I go my way.
If the frequency doesn't match, then both will separate.
Just as a son, so is a wife; a father, a mother, and relatives; servants and others are also considered as animals and horses.
That's why Maharaj said that there is a debt-bond relationship from one body to another, and that's how debt-bond happens.
There isn't much in planting a banyan or peepal branch, but these banyan and peepal branches are worth understanding, to understand which branch this is.
In this way, just like sons and others, there are also debt-bond relationships with the souls residing in animals, where there are creditors and debtors. Many times, a buffalo eats fodder, eats cottonseed meal, but still doesn't allow milking. Such animals are also found, and conversely, there are also animals that eat dry grass and give milk beyond their capacity. The reason for this is debt-bond.
Maharaj said the same thing in the Vachanamrut, that one body is created from another, and that too is created due to debt-bond. Yet, the creation process is different, that is the rule of God.
Shastriji Maharaj used to tell a very nice story about this.
To that Seth of Ujjain.
There must have been a very big Seth in Ujjain, and he had a seven-story mansion, which was considered very large at that time.
He had built a seven-story mansion and was a very big Seth.
So, one day, that Seth would be working there and go to the shop, and then in the evening, he would visit the mansion.
And then he would do his work.
One time, a sannyasi must have come there.
And he would be giving instructions to everyone in the business and everyone in the mansion, saying, "Color it this way, do it this way, do it this way."
Do such work that you don't have to paint for seven generations.
Just as he was giving instructions, the sannyasi came out and started laughing loudly, and then he left.
So the Seth noticed, "Why did he laugh so loudly after hearing my words?"
He started laughing loudly.
Then he must have gone to the shop from there.
So, he must have been sitting in the shop when it happened that a goat escaped from the hands of a butcher.
And it ran, and the butcher followed it, ran, and entered the Seth's shop, and went into a corner and started bleating.
So the butcher came and said, "Sethji, my goods."
So, these are Baniyas, so they are very compassionate.
He said, "You won't get it, go."
He said, "Then give me the money for my goods."
He said, "Here, take five rupees." He said, "Five rupees won't do, it won't come for five rupees."
After a lot of argument, Sethji grabbed the goat by the ear and gave it to him, saying, "Here, take it."
Just then, as he was taking it by the ear, the sannyasi came out and started laughing loudly.
.
He thought to himself, "He left again, didn't meet him."
He must have gone home for dinner.
So, while eating, he must have had a new son at an old age, so he had a lot of affection for him.
So, a son was born, and dinner was delayed, so the Sethani got a little angry. Then she asked, "How is the baby? How is he?" She kept asking, "Why are you saying 'baby, baby'?"
He never fed him, never took him in his lap, never carried him.
He said, "Bring him, bring him." The Seth was in a hurry, so he sat down to eat and put him on his lap.
He sat him on his lap, on one leg.
He started eating.
Then the boy had to relieve himself, to urinate.
So he did his business right there.
Oh, he wet his feet and everything, take him away, take him away, take him away.
They took him away, but a little stream of urine went into the plate.
And then, just at that moment, the sannyasi came and started laughing loudly.
So the Seth said, "Stop him, stop him."
Oh Maharaj, why do you keep laughing repeatedly?
So he said, "If you want to understand and hear the story properly, then come to our place in the evening."
Our ashram is on the bank of the Shipra river, there is a hut there, you come there.
Then he
must have gone there.
He said, "Sit, sit, Maharaj, sit."
After seating him, he spoke.
Why were you laughing?
So, you shouldn't laugh.
You were talking about your seven generations, but your lifespan is only seven days.
Then the Seth becomes disheartened.
Seven days?
To die in seven days?
Yes, the lifespan is seven days.
And he said that when you came to the shop, you didn't know that the goat was your revered father, and he had taken on the debts of others.
He said it was a karmic debt, and he must have embezzled a deposit, so he came as a butcher to take his revenge.
And he was shouting at you, and for five rupees, you grabbed his ear and gave him away.
He was there.
Then he said, when I was eating,
that your son, Munno, was there, and he said,
Do you know who that Munno is?
He is your enemy; he has come to take revenge on you.
So, what a thing he said.
Humans don't know, so they don't know who it is.
Many times we do this, we do the same to the Seth.
So, it's a karmic debt.
The point is not to become happy or sad.
You cannot escape from karmic debts.
If a son is a creditor, no matter what you do, he cannot become a debtor, and you cannot break ties with him.
If your family members are creditors, you cannot break ties with them.
But don't be happy or sad.
And pay off all debts.
Otherwise, it will remain incomplete.
Pay off all debts.
There is no escape without giving.
And if you don't want to give, then this is it.
You say that we have painted everything, but there is nothing like that painted in the scriptures.
That one who is married should not become a sadhu.
Is that so?
How many were there? How many family members were there?
Bharatji, Bhartri had 1600 queens, and he left them and went away.
There's no big problem with our one; there's still room for me here.
All debts are forgiven, okay?
Bhartri's 1600 queens all watched.
Where do we go to collect our debts now?
We used to grab his topknot and collect all the debts.
Who should we go to for our debts?
So, she watched everything.
They did something to him.
So, all debts are forgiven then.
This is the only ashram.
God forgives all taxes for him.
No ancestral debt.
No maternal debt.
No one.
No matter how many favors parents have done, one does not have to go back to repay them.
If one worships God.
If he doesn't reach there and falls back, then all debts stand again.
All debts.
God is the only refuge where all debts are forgiven.
One.
Sahajanand Swami Maharaj.
