Jag ga ma ma ga dhe re ka sa ga re. Jag ga ma ma ga dhe re ka sa ga re.

Om Avtarine Shri Swaminarayanaya Namo Namah

Shri Harikrishnaya Namo Namah

Shri Purna Purushottamaya Namo Namah

Shlok number 113

Tasyaiva sarvatha bhaktihi Kartavya manujair bhuvi Nishreyasakaram kinchit Tato'nyannaiti drushyatam

And such Shri Krishna Bhagwan, the devotion to Him, all humans on this earth should perform it.

And know that there is no other means of welfare than that devotion.

On this earth, humans should perform devotion to Shri Krishna Bhagwan with their mind, speech, and actions.

Here, the word 'Prithvi' (earth) is used in a universal, general sense.

Bhuvi

On earth

Tasyaiva sarvatha bhakti kartavya manujair bhuvi

To be done on earth, bhuvi

It should be taken in the special sense of Bharatkhand.

Because the deities have requested to take human birth in Bharatvarsha.

It is said in Shrimad Bhagavatam that we have enjoyed the happiness of heaven until today. Now, if any merit remains from the yagnas, discourses, and good deeds performed by our ancestors, then by its influence, may we attain a human birth in Bharatvarsha with the remembrance of God.

Because Bhagwan Shri Hari brings welfare in all ways to the devotees who worship Him.

In the original Shikshapatri, the word 'manuj' (human) is used.

Manujair bhuvi

Because humans alone have the primary right to perform devotion to God.

It is said in the Aitareya Aranyaka Shruti that only the soul residing in a human body can achieve extensive welfare.

He can become very rich with knowledge and science.

He speaks what is truly known, sees what is truly known, knows the coming day, and knows this world and the next.

He desires to become immortal from the mortal body; in this way, he becomes prosperous and rich. Whereas on the other hand, animals only have knowledge of eating and drinking.

They neither speak to the known nor see it.

They do not know the coming day, nor do they know this world or the next.

In the Bhagavatam, even the deities have praised the good fortune of humans.

Oh, those jivas who have received a human birth in Bharatvarsha, which is useful in the service of God.

What good deeds must he have done?

Has Bhagwan Shri Hari Himself become pleased with him?

For that good fortune, we also constantly hope.

Oh, we are beautiful, why are we doing this?

Pleased, that Shyam accepted Hari himself.

Having obtained birth in Bharat, one desires to serve Mukunda.

The human body is more precious than that of the deities.

The human body is precious.

Humans harbor desires in their minds that they should receive enjoyments like those of the deities.

That is the desire of humans.

But from God's perspective, from the deities' perspective, the human body is more precious than the body of a deity.

From God's perspective

How much glory Maharaj has spoken of, the scriptures have spoken of.

That human body is

A person wastes it in useless activities and just wandering around.

So, God does not give him a human body again.

God gets angry with him.

That he just threw away what I had given him.

In human birth, we should calculate what we want to achieve.

We should set a target for what we want to achieve.

Just ate, drank, talked and walked with this person.

If a person wastes his human birth in this, then how much loss is that?

Human birth cannot be obtained by any means.

Moksha is attained.

But human birth is not attained.

Human birth is so precious.

In the Bhagavat, even the deities have praised the good fortune of humans.

In the fifth canto, it is said that in other places too, it comes, 'Gayanti Deva Kil Gitakani'.

If a human is born in this house, if this soul gets a human body, then the deities clap and sing songs.

Oh, look at his fortune.

He got a human body.

It's like he got an American visa.

So, many people always aspire for American visas, for America.

So, he got an American visa, you see.

In the same way, all the deities in their minds

always wish that he got a human body.

We have been saying this for a long time.

Even after applying ten times and being rejected ten times, God did not give it to humans.

And he gave it to him for free.

A human body.

So, the human body is so precious.

Its use should be meaningful.

If he attains the salvation of his soul, that is enough.

In the Bhagavat, even the deities have praised the good fortune of humans.

Oh, what good deeds have those souls done who have received a human birth in Bharatvarsha, which is useful in the service of God? Has Lord Shri Hari himself become pleased with them?

For that good fortune

He imagines that God must have been pleased with him, or he has some good karma.

And for what reason has God become pleased with them?

And he also told the greatness of human birth.

What

Mukunda Sevo Paikam.

Mukunda Sevo Paikam.

If one wants to be of some use to God in His service, then one comes in human birth.

What use is it to God in another birth?

Mukunda Sevo Paikam Spruhahina, we also have a great desire.

God says so.

So the deities say that.

For that good fortune, we also constantly hope.

Oh, the glory of human birth is immense.

Because we deities also desire a human body.

Through the human body, one can attain true knowledge and dharma, yet those humans who do not worship God are truly deluded by His vast maya.

And God has also said that the greatest attainment of welfare for a human in this world is that his mind becomes steady in My form through intense bhakti yoga.

One should only worship Lord Shri Krishna.

To become stable in God is his success, his meaningfulness.

If the mind does not become stable in God, then one should become stable in the means of pleasing God.

Then the work is complete.

If it happens in the goal, and if it doesn't happen in the goal, then if stability comes in the means, then it is also complete.

Then God will grab his arm.

But there is no certainty of the means itself.

What means does he himself use? Does he do anything to please God or not?

If he does it, he does it for one day, and then he makes a pile of it.

Then he doesn't look at it for five years.

This jiva does that.

I had a lot of thoughts about that, I said we should give everyone a genius project.

We need to give a genius project.

Who is called a genius?

Is a genius born or does one become a genius?

Is the work called genius or is the person called genius?

Can an organization be a genius or not?

We want to give such a genius project to all those who are very intelligent and go with Google.

Go find it.

You have to find it from Google.

Everything is available on Google.

Except for God.

God must also be found, there must be piles of photos of God on Google, right?

To worship only Lord Shri Krishna, the 'ja' in this phrase prevents the worship of other deities.

Only his devotion should always be performed by humans on earth.

Let's do only that.

What does 'eva' mean?

Not to anyone else.

Who is 'anyone else'?

Even if others are standing nearby.

Even if they are standing nearby, 'others' means everyone else except oneself.

No one else's devotion is worth doing; only God's devotion is worth doing.

So,

To worship only Lord Shri Krishna, the 'ja' in this phrase prevents the worship of other deities.

It is said in the Bhagavat that I am the direct manifestation of God.

I am also the Lord of Prakriti and Purusha.

I am the soul of all living beings.

By taking refuge in anyone other than me, one does not get liberation from the great fear of death.

As long as there is no ultimate liberation, there is no help from death.

Without God, there is no ultimate liberation.

And no death dance.

He is not freed from birth and death.

Only this one goes on this basis.

As long as this jiva does not have love for my Vasudeva form, he is not freed from the bondage of the body.

O King, may you be blessed. Ask me for whatever you desire.

We can give you everything except moksha.

The deities said to Muchukunda.

The deities were pleased with King Muchukunda.

King Muchukunda was very mighty.

He went to help the deities, and the deities won with his help.

Then he said, "Ask, ask."

If someone has done something, they should be given something.

Don't do anything without effort.

If he has done the work, then he says he owes it to him.

So he says, "Ask, ask."

The deities are not so lazy.

So he says, "Ask."

So he says, "I have everything."

If the deities win with his help, then what will the deities give him?

So I have everything, whatever you want.

I have one thing left.

Grant me moksha.

Then the deities shook their heads and said, "That cannot be done by us."

So he gave it to the Hari Bhakta.

The deities do not have wealth; that wealth was given by God, Maharaj, to the sadhus and Hari Bhaktas.

It is said so.

What did Nishkulanand Swami say?

That the wealth was entrusted to the saint, whom the lord of Shvetadvipa praises.

It is said that one should do it with words and deeds. In that regard, there are some words of the devotees of God in the Bhagavata.

For example, the Gopis say, "O Uddhava, may the tendencies of our minds always reside in the lotus feet of Shri Krishna."

May our speech sing only of His names and qualities.

And may our body bow to Him and remain eager to obey His commands.

Vritrasura said, "O Hari, in my next birth, I will become the servant of the servant of Your lotus feet."

You are the lord of my life.

May my mind remember Your qualities.

May my speech sing Your praises.

And may my body constantly serve You.

The sons of Kubera say, "May our speech continue to describe Your qualities."

May our ears listen to Your stories, our hands serve, and our minds remember Your feet.

This world is Your abode, may our heads continue to bow to this world.

And may our eyes continue to behold the saints who are like Your manifestations. When God uprooted Yamalarjuna, those two sons of Kubera prayed to God.

Raskhan has made a very beautiful prayer.

O God, I don't really know where my birth will be.

But if you make me a stone, then make me of Govardhan.

If you make me a cow or a bull, then make me in Vrindavan.

Make me a bird, make me a tree, whatever you make, make it there.

Then I get a chance to do bhakti.

Those who have been given this chance wander outside.

If one has been given the chance to do devotion to God, one might think, "Where do we need to do devotion? It's already in our account."

Let's do all this, whatever else is left.

It is said that one should always do devotion to God.

Its meaning can also be considered as such: that this human body of ours is momentary.

It is not certain when death will arrive.

Therefore, one should quickly perform devotion, abandoning the respect and insistence on doing other tasks.

It is said in Moksha Dharma that the mind of a person who performs actions for the fulfillment of desires to enjoy the five senses is careless.

In such a situation, just as a female wolf comes and carries away a sheep, so too does death come and take him away.

Therefore, the work of welfare should be done today itself.

The opportune moment should not slip from one's hands.

Because if tasks are left incomplete, death will come and take them away.

A शुभ (auspicious) task intended for tomorrow should be done today.

What was planned to be done after noon should be done before noon.

Death does not think whether one's tasks are completed or not.

Who can know whose time of death it is today?

Even a young person should be righteous because life is unstable.

In Shrimad Bhagavatam, Rudra says, "O Lord, this deluded jiva constantly worries due to negligence."

That I have to do a certain task, and his greed increases.

The craving for sensual pleasures and greed persists.

But you remain constantly vigilant.

Just as a hungry snake catches a mouse, so too do you, in the form of time, immediately snatch it away.

Lord Himself told Uddhava that although this body is mortal, liberation can still be attained through it.

Understanding this, a person should become cautious and perform such spiritual practices that they become liberated from the cycle of birth and death before death occurs.

Shri Dattatreya told Maharaj Yadu that after many births, having attained this extremely rare human body.

A person should strive to be quickly liberated from the cycle of worldly existence before death arrives.

The main purpose of life is moksha (liberation).

Sensual pleasures are everywhere, aren't they?

Prahlada Maharaj told the children, "Friends, human birth is rare."

It is impermanent, yet through it, the purushartha (human endeavor) of moksha can be attained.

So, intelligent people should follow religious duties related to God from childhood.

A fearful person should strive for their own welfare before their body, surrounded by disease and other ailments, enters the mouth of death.

If this jiva does not strive for its own liberation, then it has to endure great misfortune.

It is said in the Bhagavata that those jivas who have attained this human birth in Bharatavarsha, endowed with knowledge, karma, and all means.

If they do not make any effort for their own liberation, then just as a bird escaped from a hunter's hand, out of greed for food, remains on the same tree.

Then again in the net.

is understood.

Similarly, he gets bound again in the bondage of the world.

Muchukunda says, "O sinless Lord, this jiva has effortlessly received a rare human body without any defect, yet due to his evil intellect, if he does not worship your lotus feet, then I believe he has fallen into the well of worldly life like an animal fallen into a dark well."

Dattatreya has said that a jiva who, even after attaining the human body, which is like an open door to liberation, remains entangled in worldly life like a pigeon, should be considered as having fallen after climbing high.

That is, he has fallen from his elevated position.

Rudra has said, "O Lord, the jiva who, even after attaining the human body that You have graciously given in the human realm, becomes uncontrolled in his senses and does not perform service and worship of Your feet, is worthy of lamentation."

And he is also deceiving his own soul.

The goddesses have said that a man who, after enduring many difficulties, attains the human body, which is a means of liberation in the earthly realm, but remains attached to worldly pleasures, is certainly a self-destroyer and is being deceived.

Lord Krishna told Uddhava, "This human body is the primary means for liberation."

Despite being rare, it has been obtained effortlessly.

Sulabham Sudurlabham

Plavam Sukalpam

Guru Karandhara

Maya Anukulam Maya Anukule Nabhasvateritam Puman Bhavabdhim Na Taret Satma

He is a suicide.

Plavam su deha madhyam sulabham sudurlabham

This human body is rare.

Yet God has made it accessible.

And Plavam

It is like a boat, a strong boat.

It can take you all the way across, to God's Akshardham.

Guru Karandharam

Guru Karandharam

The Guru is a guide.

Be careful where he takes you, don't let him take you on the wrong path.

Karandhar

He is a sailor.

If we are sitting in a boat and then we act smart, saying, "It's swaying like this, it's swaying like that, it's swaying like this," what would happen?

So we do that.

You don't know how to row properly, let me row.

Guru Karandharam Maya Anukulam Kule Nabhasvateritam

I have provided all the conveniences.

That convenience is the wind.

And yet, if this jiva does not fully achieve its own moksha,

then no one else can be called a greater self-destroyer than him.

This human body is the primary means for liberation.

Despite being rare, it has been obtained effortlessly.

It is like a strong boat for crossing the ocean of worldly existence.

In it, the Guru, who is the helmsman, is the rudder, and I, in the form of favorable wind, propel it forward.

Yet, the person who does not cross the ocean of worldly existence is a self-destroyer.

Even in the Vedic hymns, the Shruti texts say, "O Lord, if a jiva dedicates this body to Your service, then You treat him like a well-wisher, a friend, and a beloved person to his soul."

Yet, the jivas who do not worship You and start worshipping the perishable and unreal body and its relatives,

and become attached to them, it is as if they are committing suicide.

And by wandering in this forest of worldly existence, they take birth in many lowly species.

Know that there is no other beneficial means apart from bhakti.

Uddhava has told the gopis that charity, vows, penance, homa, japa, study of Vedas, dharana,

meditation, dharana, samadhi, and through various other means of welfare, efforts are made to attain devotion to God.

From this, it appears that other means are related to God through bhakti and through tradition.

But bhakti has a direct relationship with God.

Therefore, bhakti has this much specialty compared to other means.

Kapiladeva has said that the greatest attainment of welfare for a human being in the world is that his mind becomes fixed in Me through intense bhakti-yoga.

Yogis, to attain God,

There is no other auspicious path like the devotion offered to Shri Hari's form.

Rudra has also said that you are rare to all embodied beings, yet a devotee can attain you.

It is also said in the Gita that this divine Maya of mine, consisting of three gunas, is very difficult to overcome.

But the person who worships only me crosses over this Maya.

Prahladji has said in the Bhagavata that I believe that wealth, nobility, beauty, penance, knowledge, vigor, radiance, influence, strength, valor, intellect, and yoga—all these qualities are not capable of pleasing the Supreme Purusha, God.

But through devotion, God was pleased even with Gajendra.

God is pleased only by selfless devotion.

Apart from that, other means are merely a mockery.

It is heard that those who lack devotion are almost certainly condemned in the scriptures. Brahma, while praising God, said that those who turn away their senses and inner consciousness from listening to and chanting your names, which destroy all inauspiciousness, and remain eager for the trivial pleasures of the five senses, and commit evil deeds for them, their intellect has been stolen by God.

Brahma, while praising God, said that those who turn away their senses and inner consciousness from listening to and chanting your names, which destroy all inauspiciousness, and remain eager for the trivial pleasures of the five senses, and commit evil deeds for them, their intellect has been stolen by God.

Yamaraja told his messengers that the Paramahamsas, who are detached and know the essence of devotion, and who constantly serve the nectar of the lotus feet of God, abandon those lotus feet and are instead attached to the worldly desires of home and family, which are like the path to hell. You must bring such wicked people here to suffer the torments of hell.

Vidura also said in the Bhagavata that I grieve for those ignorant people who are most pitiable among the pitiable.

Who, due to their past sins, flee from the stories of God.

Oh dear,

powerful time

taking the excuse of seva

[laughter]

One needs some excuse to run away.

Alas, powerful time is cutting short his precious life.

And those jivas are engaged in useless activities through mind, speech, and action.

Vidur must have realized that all these people would be doing this.

These people must have started doing this just now, or they might have been doing it even then.

Vidurji must have known.

Saunaka has also said that

They are going to run away under the pretext of this service.

O Sutji, the person who never listens to the stories of Lord Shri Krishna, his ears are like the holes in an anthill.

Whose tongue does not sing the divine play of God, that tongue is like the tongue of a frog.

Which keeps making useless noises.

It is also said in the Gita that foolish, wicked people who commit sinful acts do not attain me.

Because their knowledge is destroyed by Maya.

This is the verse.

The foolish, wicked people who commit evil deeds do not surrender to me, for their knowledge is stolen by Maya, and they have embraced the demonic nature.

These people do not worship me.

This condemnation is not only for those who are devoid of devotion and have worldly desires, but also for those who are without devotion and are attached to Vedic rituals.

One who has devotion belongs to all others.

God himself has said that dharma with truth and compassion, and knowledge with penance, cannot properly purify a person who is without devotion to my form.

Naradji has said, 'O kings, in this world, a person's birth, actions, lifespan, mind, and speech are truly considered successful only if they are used to serve the all-supreme Lord Shri Hari. If one does not attain the Supreme Soul Shri Hari, then the three types of births—Shaukla, Savitra, and Brahma—Vedic rituals, and a long life like that of the gods, all yield no fruit.'

What is the use of such scriptural knowledge, penance, discourse, eloquent speech, various types of memory power, skilled intellect, strength, and mastery over the senses, if they do not lead to attaining God? None at all.

What benefit does a person gain from yoga, Sankhya (the discriminative knowledge of the self and non-self), sannyasa, study of the Vedas, and other auspicious means like vows and detachment, if they do not have Shri Hari, who enables the realization of one's true self through devotion to Shri Hari?

If Vedic rituals are performed with devotion to God, then they are considered meaningful.

Brahma himself has said that the karma that is offered to you is never destroyed.

It becomes imperishable.

Therefore, to please you through various types of yagna, charity, penance, and vows, etc., is the true purpose of human action.

Because after receiving your pleasure, what thing remains rare?

Nothing.

Commentary.

As stated above, the Supreme Purusha, the Supreme Soul, has been described.

Now it is further stated that devotion to that Purushottam is the cause of moksha.

In the previous verses, the description of God was given.

From where the jiva lives in the heart, the description of God has been given from there.

He who is the inner controller, situated in compassion, knowable, independent, the Lord, the bestower of all fruits of karma.

That Shri Krishna, the Supreme Brahman, Lord Purushottam, is the cause of the manifestation of all worshipped deities.

And his God, he talked about the state of avatar in three verses.

That with Shri Krishna Bhagwan, there is Arjuna, there is this, there is that.

You were talking yesterday, wasn't it your question?

That in it, one should not know the difference in form, and where to know and where not to know.

That is the Vachanamrut of Loya in this.

Bring it.

That is very good, where to know the difference and where not to know.

So Maharaj has said in it.

Vachanamrut.

No.

Vachanamrut.

The Vachanamrut is in that one.

Keep this Vachanamrut.

Loya's, it won't be found quickly on mobile.

Huh?

Loya's is in the notebook.

Loya's 70th, that one 18th.

You can see, it's in that too.

It comes in Loya's 18th, right?

God gave darshan in this way and in that way, it is a matter of certainty.

Huh?

He gave this darshan to Akrurji.

Having a thousand arms, having eight arms.

Huh?

Having a thousand arms, having eight arms.

Yes, he gave darshan with eight arms.

It is said that one should make distinctions in this and not in that.

God grazed the calves, and was called Balmukund.

In that, one should not know the difference.

Didn't find it.

It's big.

So, if the form of God is eternal, then Shri Krishna Bhagwan gave darshan to Vasudeva and Devaki in the form of Chaturbhuj at the time of his first birth.

And to Akrur, he gave darshan in the form of Chaturbhuj in the water.

And when Rukmini fainted, he also gave darshan in the form of Chaturbhuj.

And Arjuna has also said, "To him, in the form of Chaturbhuj, O thousand-armed one, be the universal form."

Therefore, Arjuna also saw the Chaturbhuj form.

And at the time when Shri Krishna Bhagwan was sitting under a peepal tree at Yadavasthali, Uddhavji and Maitreya Rishi saw the form of God as Chaturbhuj, with conch, discus, mace, lotus, and yellow garments.

And Shri Krishna Bhagwan was dark-skinned, and his form is said to put millions of Kamadevas to shame.

Therefore, in such a human-like appearance, all that light and happiness, which was mentioned before, reside.

Next.

Maharaj has said in it that here one should not know and here one should know.

Huh?

It's somewhere in the fourth.

Of Panchala.

Of the fourth Panchala.

Look.

Oh, there's a phone, someone has it.

There's a mantra, something like 21.

Let's discuss this tomorrow after finding it.

Keep going.

As stated above, the description of the Supreme Purusha, Paramatma, has been given. Now, it is further stated that devotion to that Purushottam is the cause of moksha.

It has been established above that Lord Shri Krishna, the Purushottam, is the cause of all incarnations. Therefore, one should worship Him. Who should worship? All those who have the right, such as gods and humans, should worship.

Who should worship? All those who have the right, such as gods and humans, should worship.

Even the desire for liberation of Brahma and other gods is considered appropriate, because even those gods are afflicted by the three types of miseries: adhyatmik, adidaivik, and adibhautik.

Lord Shri Krishna has said that on earth or in the heavenly realms, no living being, from humans to Brahma and other gods, is free from the three gunas of Maya: sattva, rajas, and tamas.

Since it is said that one should worship Lord Shri Krishna, it becomes clear that one should not worship any other deity.

Apart from Lord Purushottam, no one else is a means to moksha.

That is, there is no other giver of moksha.

Similarly, it is said in the Vishnu Purana that those who desire moksha should not worship Brahma and other gods.

O lion among men, all other deities and karmic wombs that are dependent on the mind, apart from Lord Vishnu, are impure.

Lord Shri Hari, in the next sentence, said, "Natu jiva nrude vadyaah," meaning that humans and other divine beings who are jivas,

It is said in the 15th shloka.

Krishna and his incarnations are to be meditated upon, and even his idol. Not even jivas, humans, or devotees who know Brahman are to be meditated upon.

It is forbidden in that.

Humans and other divine beings, even if they are devotees of Lord Shri Krishna and knowers of Brahman, are not worthy of meditation, so one should not meditate on them.

One should always, that is, in all ways, perform devotion to the form of Lord Shri Krishna.

The intention here is that due to intense bhakti yoga, samadhi occurs, and when one returns from it, all the tendencies of that devotee's body, speech, and mind spread with love into the form of God. Therefore, it should be done in all ways.

It is also said in the Gita that those devotees who follow unwavering rules, strive to conquer their senses, and constantly chant and offer obeisances to me, Shri Hari, carefully perform my worship and devotion.

Or, to perform devotion in all ways means that in that devotion, both the means and the fruit are God Himself.

Among the four types of devotees mentioned in the Gita, the distressed, the inquisitive, and the seeker of wealth, these three have devotion only as a means.

Once the distressed person receives lost kingdom and other opulences, their devotion does not last.

The inquisitive person's devotion is only sufficient for the attainment of the distinct self-form from prakriti.

And for the seeker of wealth, once they obtain power and other things they didn't have, their devotion does not remain.

Once the fruit of devotion is attained, devotion does not remain.

But for the wise person who seeks ultimate good, both the means and the end, that is, the fruit, are devotion itself.

After attaining God, who is the fruit, one has no other desires, so that seeker of welfare should not expect any other fruit.

The fruit of performing devotion is also the attainment of God.

If one does not worship that Purushottam God, what harm will come to them?

In response, it is said that there is no other beneficial means of welfare apart from devotion to God.

That is why it is said in the Smriti that the Supreme Purusha is attained only through exclusive devotion.

O Arjuna, the darshan you are having of me now cannot be attained through Vedic study, penance, various types of charity, or various types of yagnas and sacrifices.

But O Parantapa Arjuna, I, who am like this, can be known in essence through exclusive devotion and can be entered through meditation.

One who serves me, the one with true resolve, through exclusive bhakti yoga, attains the state of Brahman by transcending the unconquerable gunas like sattva.

My devotee attains me through boundless and supreme devotion that arises after knowing my form, nature, qualities, and opulences as they are.

That is, like Lakshmiji, they experience my glory and serve me.

This Purushottam, this Lord Purushottam, can be attained only through devotion.

If devotion is said to be superior in the scriptures, then the other means that are shown to be superior are for helping it.

It helps devotion, it is said that if there are any means through tradition, then through that tradition, devotion has a direct connection with God, and other means have a traditional connection.

So, through devotion, devotion is helped.

Maharaj has considered in the means that it is 'samuchchayavada' (the doctrine of combination).

Not just one means, but 'samuchchayavada' (the doctrine of combination).

There are three types of 'samuchchay' (combination).

One is equal 'samuchchay' (combination).

Both should be equal, man.

If there are partners and they have a 50-50% partnership, then both have an equal share.

And both of them together form one firm.

50-50% is called 'sam samuchchay' (equal combination).

And sometimes there is 'vishama samuchchay' (unequal combination).

There are different balances.

Then it is called 'vishama samuchchay' (unequal combination).

And Maharaj has said that it is 'angangi bhava samuchchay' (combination of the principal and its parts).

One is its part and one is the principal.

So, all other means are called 'anga' (parts), and 'angi' (the principal) is called devotion.

So, one cannot do it by leaving it.

In this, a person's body has legs as its parts, so what can a person do without legs?

What can one do without hands?

So, devotion is the principal, but it also needs its parts, so such a 'samuchchay' (combination) of 'angangi bhava' (principal and its parts) is used.

So, 'samuchchay' means a group, not alone.

The meaning of 'samuchchay' is not alone.

Then Maharaj said that if there is extraordinary devotion, one can do it alone, but until extraordinary devotion comes, all these are needed.

So, other means are needed.

In the scriptures, when describing the means, when they talk about the superiority of upasana, then knowledge, and satsang, they almost always show its superiority over all others.

It is synonymous with devotion.

Upasana itself means devotion.

There is no difference between upasana and devotion.

Upasana is devotion.

From the perspective of the wise, the word 'upasana' is used for it.

And from the perspective of devotees, 'bhakti' (devotion) is used.

But upasana and bhakti cannot be called separate.

Verse number 114.

The ultimate fruit of the virtuous is to be known.

Devotion to Krishna and satsang, otherwise even the wise fall.

Then, if 'navadha bhakti' (nine-fold devotion) is mentioned, it is called ordinary devotion.

But 'parabhakti' (supreme devotion) and 'upasana' (worship) are both achieved through one.

If it is ordinary devotion, then it is considered different.

And the ultimate fruit of the virtuousness of a person endowed with virtues like knowledge is to be known as that.

Which one? To have devotion towards Lord Shri Krishna and to do satsang.

And without devotion and satsang, even a scholar falls to a lower state.

One who possesses intelligence and other virtues is called virtuous.

The best fruit of such virtuousness can only be said to be this: devotion to the form of Lord Shri Krishna and its purpose, satsang, these two.

Lord Himself has said that, 'O Uddhav, it is My firm resolve that satsang and devotion, these two means, should be practiced together continuously.'

Nishkulanand Swami wrote that 'pal bhay pay palya nag' (a snake that has been nurtured with fear).

If there is no devotion to God, then what are all the virtues like?

They are like raising a snake by feeding it milk.

If someone raises a snake by feeding it milk,

then if that snake grows, it will bite him; where else would it go to bite?

It will bite the one who is present.

So it bites him.

Similarly, our virtues destroy us.

Virtues, mind you.

Vices certainly destroy us, but our virtues also destroy us.

Because virtues came but devotion did not, so he will become arrogant.

He has to use it somewhere else.

He has to do it somewhere else besides devotion to God.

So he will go in reverse, it will be a minus, it will be destroyed.

So, whatever virtue there is, whatever plus point there is, whatever skill there is,

it should at least be engaged in devotion to God.

Otherwise, even if it just lies there, it will destroy.

It doesn't sit still.

If one has good skills, good virtues, and doesn't use them for God, it's not like they just lie dormant.

It destroys.

So, one should engage them in God, one should engage them in devotion to God.

Something or other.

Nakhod means

Nakhod means?

Nakhod, what should I say, brother?

Destruction.

Huh? It destroys.

It destroys.

It harms itself, that's called nakhod.

If it harms itself, it's called destroying itself.

Those virtues do not benefit him.

They harm him.

One who possesses intelligence and other virtues is called virtuous.

The ultimate fruit of such virtuousness can only be said to be devotion to the form of Lord Shri Krishna and its purpose, satsang, these two.

Lord Himself has said, 'O Uddhav, it is My firm resolve that satsang and devotion, these two means, should be practiced together continuously.'

Apart from these two, there is no other way to cross the ocean of worldly existence.

Because saintly persons consider Me their own refuge.

Satsang is the nourisher of devotion.

And it is the giver of birth.

Devotion is born from satsang.

And it also receives nourishment.

That's why satsang was taken.

In the third and fourth shlokas of the Shikshapatri, Maharaj has spoken about devotion and its greatness.

If devotion alone is mentioned somewhere else, it is said to be devotion with dharma, but devotion alone is not mentioned anywhere.

It wouldn't have said 'devotion alone'.

It should be done with dharma, with greatness, with satsang.

Like that.

All these things mean that devotion needs the support of others.

So satsang is also the creator of devotion.

If there is no devotion, then if there is true satsang, it gives birth to devotion.

If one does true satsang.

What is satsang?

He

Self-realization in a saintly person.

Self-realization

So if he has self-realization in a true devotee of God, then he will also have it in God.

That's why it's called the giver of birth.

Satsang is the giver of birth to devotion.

And it is also a nourisher.

And it is the one who helps you cross over.

So it becomes his armor.

So

What did he say? Krishna's devotion and satsang.

Devotion and satsang.

Without these two, even a scholar will fall into degradation.

No matter how it is.

Apart from these two, there is no other way to cross the ocean of worldly existence.

Mostly, devotion and satsang are not linked in other scriptures in this way; Maharaj alone has linked them.

Maharaj has given more emphasis to satsang.

More than everyone else, it is said that Maharaj, taking the example from the Bhagavat, said this to Uddhavji.

That

There is no other like satsang.

It is not a means.

It is not taken as devotion, but it means that when there is satsang, devotion comes into it.

When there is satsang, it definitely produces devotion.

And if one does satsang and devotion is not necessarily produced, then that satsang is doubtful.

That, well, is he doing satsang or what is he doing? It seems like he is doing something else.

By doing satsang, devotion must be produced.

That is called satsang.

Because saintly persons consider me their refuge, and I always remain with them.

The culmination of the discretion of discerning persons and the cleverness of clever persons is in this: that they attain me, the indestructible and true essence, from this perishable and false body.

Naradji has said that scholars have expounded on this matter,

that the sole purpose of human penance, study of the Vedas, performance of yagnas, self-study, knowledge, and charity is to describe the virtues and divine sports of the renowned Shri Krishna.

To do devotion.

In reality, karma is that which

There was a beautiful verse from our Bhagavat.

The enjoyment of the rasa of divine pastimes and stories.

The enjoyment of the rasa of divine pastimes and stories.

One should extract the essence of the story, one should drink the essence.

The examples are not meant to scold someone.

But the essence of the story, one should drink it.

How does one drink the rasa?

How does one know that one is drinking the rasa of this story?

Later, he reflects.

When one develops more interest in contemplation, that is called rasa.

When one continuously develops an interest in contemplating it, that is called rasa.

So, one should drink that rasa.

So, if one drinks the rasa, one gains strength.

Otherwise, one does not gain strength.

In reality, karma is that by which God is pleased, and knowledge is also that by which the mind is absorbed in God.

Vidurji has said that to listen to the virtues of such devotees in whose hearts the lotus feet of Shri Mukund Bhagwan reside, is the main fruit of the effort of studying scriptures for many days by that very person. This is the opinion of scholars.

If one studies scriptures for an entire life,

and devotion to God does not arise,

then what did he say?

Serving a barren cow.

A barren cow means one that never gives birth to a calf; that is called a barren cow.

It never gives milk.

So, it's a barren cow.

It has been greatly criticized.

There's a kadai (wok), in that kadai, they make sweets like magaj and mohanthal.

But the spatula, it flips everything over, from here to there, and from there to here.

So, does the spatula get a taste?

That there is less sugar in it?

Or that there is less ghee in it, does it taste like that?

Huh?

So, if devotion doesn't happen, scholars are called such.

They flip this Shikshapatri from one side to the other, and from the other side to this side.

But nothing came into our hands, no essence came, so it's a spatula.

Another example of it has been given.

Do you know?

The burden of sandalwood on a donkey.

Carrying sandalwood.

Sandalwood is piled on top of donkeys.

If you want to bring sandalwood from the mountains,

then a DCM (truck) won't go there.

There might not be a road, but donkeys can reach anywhere.

Donkeys can reach where the scriptures are.

That's what it means to say.

In scriptures, there are very profound scriptures, and where no one can find their way, donkeys can reach.

So, in a dense forest, donkeys reach where there is sandalwood; that's what it means.

And it only moves on donkeys.

A DCM (truck) won't work there.

Cars don't go, DCMs don't go, and only donkeys go.

And donkeys

It reaches the air.

So, all those people cut sandalwood and load it onto the donkey.

So, what kind of taste does the donkey get?

Huh?

Of what?

Is it possible that it doesn't come?

It feels heavy to him, like a ton has been loaded.

But a ton of fragrance doesn't come.

Similarly, even if one studies all these scriptures for God, devotion to God does not come.

Then, like a donkey, like a donkey, what else was it said to be like?

Cow.

Like a Varol cow.

Like a Varol cow, all that.

There is production, there is production of Varol cow.

Nowadays, cow urine and cow dung also have more production than milk.

So, in today's era, those donkeys thrive.

Huh.

To sell after making cow dung cakes.

So, cow dung cakes go for ₹200 a kilo.

And this milk is

It barely comes to 40-50.

That's ₹200 a kilo.

Nothing to feed, nothing.

Just keep giving water.

Keep taking cow urine.

Vidurji has said that listening to the virtues of such devotees, in whose heart the lotus feet of Shri Mukund Bhagwan reside, is the main fruit of the hard work of scriptural study done by a person for many days. This is the opinion of scholars.

In Skanda Purana

And then the scholars gave it.

Otherwise, he shouldn't give it.

But someone must have some quality in it, someone must have given it.

Victory to Sahajanand Swami Maharaj.
